Specialist Assessment

Sometimes it can be difficult to make sense of what is happening, particularly when needs are complex, difficulties have persisted over time, or previous approaches have not been helpful.

We provide specialist psychological assessment to help develop a clearer understanding of a person's needs, experiences and behaviour, and identify what may help.

You can approach us for yourself, or enquiries can be made by family members, carers, professionals or organisations involved in someone's support.

What We Can Help With

Specialist input may be helpful when you, or someone you support, is experiencing:

• Complex or longstanding psychological difficulties

• Behaviour that is concerning or difficult to understand

• Emotional or behavioural dysregulation

• Difficulties with engagement or accessing support

• Neurodevelopmental needs alongside other difficulties

• Repeated patterns or incidents that have been difficult to change

• Several overlapping needs that make it difficult to understand what support would be most helpful

• A need for greater clarity about what may be contributing to current difficulties

• A need to develop or review an existing support plan
